Magical atmosphere with dazzling lanterns across the UK

The Challenge

To bring the cherished Moon Festival to life across all eight Ivy Asia locations in the UK, blending cultural tradition with modern elegance.

Insight and Ambition

Ivy Asia was set to celebrate the Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, a tradition symbolising togetherness, gratitude for the harvest, and the beauty of the full moon. We envisioned creating an immersive setting where tradition meets modern artistry. Our proposal included striking silk and bamboo lantern installations, illuminated with LED lights, symbolizing the guiding light towards prosperity.

Highlights

  • The installations were showcased across all eight Ivy Asia locations: London St Paul’s, Chelsea, Guildford, Brighton, Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, and Glasgow, each offering a unique yet cohesive celebration of the Moon Festival.

  • Over 160 silk lanterns were installed in vibrant colors and shapes.

  • Decorative elements like paper birds, fans, and tassels added cultural depth.

  • Special Moon Festival Afternoon Tea, themed cocktails, and live entertainment.

  • A vibrant atmosphere blending tradition with Ivy Asia’s modern elegance.

The vibrant décor, live entertainment, and curated culinary offerings created a sensory journey celebrating art, culture, and fine dining.
