To create an electrifying winter experience at King’s Cross for Argent, blending playful competition, neon-lit curling lanes, and seasonal indulgence to transform Coal Drops Yard into a vibrant festive playground.
Insight and Ambition
London winters call for experiences that bring energy, warmth, and connection into public spaces. The ambition was to turn the niche sport of curling into an accessible social spectacle. Across five seasons, Club Curling evolved into a vibrant winter playground, combining playful competition, immersive design, and indulgent food and drink to create one of King’s Cross’s most loved seasonal traditions.

Over five seasons, Club Curling welcomed 80,000+ players to Coal Drops Yard.
Over five seasons, Club Curling achieved more than 65% growth in net ticket revenue, reinforcing its position as one of King’s Cross’s most successful winter activations.
Partnerships with God’s Own Junkyard, Morty & Bob’s and DesignMyNight brought neon spectacle, indulgent seasonal food and seamless ticketing to the activation.
Delivered six curling lanes and immersive lounges, introducing bold new creative themes each year, from neon-lit winter playgrounds to vintage Italian ski culture.
